Founder of Global Association For Women & Children, Blaise Lolika, took another trip to The Democratic Republic of Congo in March 2023 to continue his aid efforts in the country. During his trip, Blaise was invited by the governor of Kisangani to discuss their support of the organization. Blaise was met with many accolades from him and his team and felt honored to have met him. Blaise also visited a few orphanages to donate food and sanitary products. One of the children he met would impact him in a big way. It was an experience he wouldn't forget

 

At the beginning of April, Blaise received a call about a young girl who was dying of malnutrition.  Though there wasn't much that could be done to help the girl, It was important to him that he visit this girl to be with her during her last moments. Blaise  spent most of his time spoke to her, as she was too weak to speak for herself. It was goal to lift her spirits while he spent time with her. He offered to leave money for her to buy a soda. The following day, he received a call that she had passed away. Shortly before her passing, miraculously, she found enough energy to speak. She told her caregivers that there was a man that came earlier who told her that he would buy a soda. The caregivers were astonished. They immediately brought her the soda and she drank. That being her last drink until she passed. This was when Blaise knew that even such small acts can make an impact in someones life
